Back To School Fashion Show

My first event as Mrs. Virginia US Beauties 2010 was a back to school fashion show at The Springfield Mall in Springfield Virginia. This was a great event to see what it in appropriate fashion for youngsters this fall. I was in style apparently because I was wearing boots and boots are in! Yeah!

I loved this event because I believe it can boost the kids self-esteem. The kids on the runway looked like they were having a great time and since everyone clapped for everyone, I am sure they felt fantastic up there.

I hope to be able to go to more fun events like that! Pictures soon.

Light the Night walk for LLS

October 3rd, 3:00 pm at Reston Town Center in Reston VA.

Team US Beauties will be walking during this special night. I hope to be joined by other queens not just from the US Beauties pageant.

Crowning Celebration!

Hello! My crowning celebration will be on October 24 from 2-4pm at my mother-in-laws house in Pleasant Hill, IA. There will be cake! Dress is casual. I will be raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the Susan G. Komen foundation. Hope to see you there!

August 23, Bounce and Splash at Pullen Field on Ft Belvoir. 1-5pm

August 29, Pooch Plunge at Pool #1 (outdoor pool south post) Ft Belvoir, 10am-2pm

September 16, Walter Reed Donor Center (donate from 8am-3pm) will be present from 11am-2pm
